I think (according to the book) that young Idealists have romantic infatuations which are not crushing, but unfulfilling, because of lack of communciation (and sex) usually.
I usually took the first choice to run away, and the girl needs to get a grip. Some of them use handcuffs, others blackmail and violence. Just how much force is necessary before it turns into abuse?
